Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital does not provide gender-affirming surgeries. Our Gender Health Clinic provides a multidisciplinary three-step process that includes education, resources and affirming medical support.
We respect all parties with medical decision-making authority and do not provide treatment without their consent.
LGBTQ+ crisis support resources
Several nationally recognized organizations that serve transgender and gender-diverse teens and young adults offer crisis support. Crisis lines are available for people who need immediate help and identify as transgender or gender diverse.
Friends and family who may be worried about a loved one can also use these resources. If you need additional mental health services, our social worker can provide a list of gender-affirming mental health providers.
