What to expect and next steps

After a referral from your child’s pediatrician or primary care doctor, you will schedule an appointment with a cardiologist. At this appointment, your child’s cardiologist may order a variety of tests to help make an accurate diagnosis. These tests will provide important information about your child’s heart formation, blood flow, pumping ability and rhythm. Our dedicated staff works closely with patients to alleviate fears by providing thorough explanations and supporting patients through their entire procedure.

Once a diagnosis has been made, your child’s cardiologist will meet with you to develop a personalized care plan and discuss next steps.
