Mary Bridge Children’s Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology is here for patients from infancy through adolescence. Our team of fellowship-trained specialists provide patient-centered compassionate care, tailored to the unique needs of pediatric patients and their varying stages of emotional, sexual and physical development.
In addition to expert and compassionate gynecologic care, patients have seamless access to other support services at Mary Bridge Children’s, including social work and child life services, as well as to multidisciplinary care teams across all pediatric specialty clinics and service lines at Mary Bridge Children’s.
Services we offer:
- Preventative care: Pelvic exam, pap smear, breast exam, contraception, STI testing, sexual health counseling and developmental concerns
- Management of acute and chronic conditions: Ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, endometriosis, PCOS, PMDD, PMS, dysmenorrhea, menstrual disorders, menstrual suppression for girls with developmental disorders
- Treatment of rare conditions: Labial adhesions, lichen sclerosis, anomalies of the female genital tract (vulva, hymen, vagina, cervix, uterus), primary ovarian insufficiency, precocious or delayed puberty, vulvar disorders, hymenal revision for congenital anomalies
- Gynecological surgery: Ovarian detorsion, ovarian and paratubal cystectomy, adnexal masses, vaginal septum removal, treatment for distal vaginal agenesis, vaginoplasty, straddle injury repair, oophorectomy for fertility preservation for suspected ovarian cancer, gonadectomy in disorders of sexual differentiation, ovarian and uterine transposition for fertility preservation
