Mary Bridge Children's Home Health Care
The Mary Bridge Children’s home health care team is trained exclusively in pediatric care and includes experienced pediatric nurses, pharmacists, a registered dietician and nutrition care coordinators, technicians, insurance coordinators and delivery personnel.
Home care services
- IV line maintenance (PICC, Hickman/Broviac and ports)
- IV antibiotics and home chemotherapy
- Nutrition/feeding support
- Home phototherapy
- Feeding tube management
- Transition from inpatient care to home or community services
- In-home lab draws and dressing changes
- Communication with providers
- Caregiver access to nurses 24 hours, seven days a week
Care delivery team
- Our trained nurses give families and caregivers one-on-one teaching at the hospital bedside or in the home
- We transition our patients from inpatient to home care, and we can also admit patients from our community to our services
- Nursing visits are typically one to two hours. Infusion visits are typically two to four hours
- Extra equipment is stocked in the hospital ED in case of equipment failure
