Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death for children under the age of 14. These tragic accidents may appear to be random and outside our control, but they tend to follow predictable patterns—and most are preventable.

At Mary Bridge Children’s Center for Childhood Safety, our mission is to prevent unintentional childhood injury through health education, community partnerships and best practice interventions.

From infant sleep safety to bicycle helmet use to fall prevention and other topics, consider us your trusted resource for childhood safety information. We also offer services like car seat inspections and life jacket loans, free of charge.
