An Integrated Approach to Working with Children - Part 1 for Parents & Caregivers

This recorded webinar course is for parents and caregivers working with children. Sensory processing, floortime and social thinking are three models that can be effectively used together for success. This class takes an integrated look at several challenging areas that often effect children with special needs; Sensory processing  disorders, emotional developmental delays and social thinking delays.

When all three treatment models are combined for use in clinic, at home, at school and in the community, the child and family have a set of strategies for success across the years and through many environments. These combined models help children and families change maladaptive thinking and behavior, for positive thinking and appropriate choice making for good social possibilities.

A variety of children can benefit from this approach including those with autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, speech and language deficits, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy and developmental delays, etc.
