1-Day Childbirth Class at Good Samaritan Hospital

1-Day Class - This class offers “just the basics” for those too busy to attend the longer classes or those who desire a class that moves more quickly. Class meets from 9:00 AM-4:30 PM and covers all birth and postpartum topics but does not cover newborn care or breastfeeding information.

Who Should Enroll: Enroll mother-to-be only, ages 11 and up. Partners are encouraged to attend at no additional cost. Please do not bring children to class.

Parking Notes: Park in the visitor and patient parking garage at the 15th Ave entrance. The Family Birth Center Classroom is located near the Family Birth Center Lobby.

Class/Event Fee: $130.00 Provider One cards are accepted for this class.

Fee Notes: Payment required at the time of enrollment.

Supply Notes: Please bring water bottles, snacks, notebook, and pen.  Feel free to bring a lunch for day long classes, food is also available for purchase in our hospitals.  Please wear comfortable clothing that will allow movement during class. 

Class/Event Discount Policy: We also accept Provider One Cards for this class. We also offer a MultiClass discount.

Class/Event Refund Policy: Please call to cancel if you are unable to attend. Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the first class begins, a $15.00 handling fee will be retained by MultiCare.

Inclement Weather Policy: We will notify those enrolled if class is canceled.

Couples Enrollment Policy: A class registrant may attend alone but can feel free to bring a partner at no additional charge.
