Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital was recognized as the June 2018 Hospital of the Month for the National Hospital Improvement Innovation Network, Children’s Hospitals’ Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS).
2013
Mary Bridge Children’s hospital was recognized, alongside MultiCare Tacoma General and MultiCare Allenmore, for outstanding efforts to reduce patient harm and improve patient safety during the 81st Annual Meeting of the Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) in Seattle. The three Tacoma hospitals were the only hospitals in the South Sound to earn the 2013 “Washington State Hospital Association Safe Care in Action” award. The award honors hospitals for decreasing patient harm in 10 key areas.
Other Awards
MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital has been working hard to keep kids in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit safe from infections. That work was recognized when the Tacoma hospital received the highest rating of any pediatric hospital in Washington in a Consumer Reports story about preventing infections in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
