Tamara Chang, MD, is a pediatric hematologist oncologist who specializes in treating leukemia, lymphoma, brain tumors, solid tumors and blood disorders. In addition to tumors, she has a clinical interest in late effects and survivorship. She has published numerous medical journal articles on pediatric blood diseases and presented at medical conferences. She is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology.

Procedures Dr. Chang performs include:

  • Lumbar puncture, intrathecal chemotherapy
  • Bone marrow biopsy and aspirate

Practice Philosophy: Caring for patients and families with cancer and hematology diagnoses is what brings me the greatest joy, meaning and purpose as a physician. To me, caring for patients and families is not only about providing the most excellent and highest standard of care possible, but also understanding the needs and greater context of my patients' families as a whole. I feel blessed to be a part of the exceptionally dedicated and loving pediatric team at Mary Bridge.
