Chris Ladish, PhD, named NAMI Washington’s Pediatric Provider of the Year
Mary Bridge Children’s very own Chris Ladish, PhD, was recognized this week by the Washington state chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and named the 2022 Pediatric Provider of the Year.
Ladish is currently chief clinical officer of pediatric behavioral health at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and MultiCare Behavioral Health Network. She’s spent more than 25 years building and strengthening mental health services for children and youth in need, particularly those in Pierce and South King counties.
“Chris is a tireless leader and advocate for youth and their mental health needs,” says Jeff Poltawsky, president and market leader of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network. “She is passionate about her work, and we are incredibly lucky to have her on our team and as a behavioral health expert in the greater Pacific Northwest.”
Ladish is a founding member of Kids’ Mental Health Pierce County (KMHPC), the community collaborative that Mary Bridge Children’s established in 2018 with other community agencies.
In addition to her clinical work at Mary Bridge Children’s, Ladish frequently lends her voice to local and national platforms for media interviews, panel discussions and more.
In 2021, NAMI Washington awarded KMHPC with the Program of the Year award. It also named the collaborative its first-ever Youth Mental Health Program of the Year in 2020.
Congratulations, Dr. Ladish, on this achievement! Our communities are stronger and our children’s futures are brighter because of your work.
