Patient Ambassadors highlight the magic of Mary Bridge Children’s
Partnering for healing and a healthy future for children is our mission at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. It’s the heartbeat behind everything we do at our hospital, outpatient centers and clinics around the South Sound and beyond. Every year, hundreds of thousands of children and youth — and their families — find hope at Mary Bridge Children’s. Each of these children has their own unique story.
The Mary Bridge Children’s Patient Ambassador Program was created to help tell these experiences and highlight the relationship between top-notch, holistic health care and philanthropy. Each year, we select a handful of patients to share their stories of bravery and courage, joy and sadness, hope and healing. While each story is unique, all celebrate these children, their inspiring medical journeys and the support they received along the way.
Why is the ambassador program important?
Patient Ambassadors are the faces and voices of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. By joining the program and sharing their stories, these kids and young adults are also sharing the broader story of Mary Bridge Children’s, from our dedication to family-centered care, to easy access to multidisciplinary care teams.
Mary Bridge Children’s attracts top talent in pediatric medicine and offers multiple specialty services and programs, many made possible from generous community support. Patient Ambassadors inspire the community to continue (or begin) financially supporting Mary Bridge Children’s so that all children can receive world-class medical care, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
Follow along as we introduce this year’s Patient Ambassadors. Thank you to each of these patients and their families for bravely sharing their stories.
