Your health care is essential right now

We know you may be afraid to seek the care you need due to concerns over COVID-19. But it’s important to continue to take care of your health, and we’re here for you to give you the care you need, safely. All our emergency departments, hospitals and outpatient clinics in both the Inland Northwest and Puget Sound regions have plenty of room available to care for everyone, no matter what their illness or injury. So, please, do not hesitate to seek medical treatment if you need it.

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Motor vehicle accidents or other traumatic injuries
  • Numbness in the face, arm or leg
  • Pregnancy complications
  • Seizures
  • Sepsis
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Severe burns
  • Severe skin infection
  • Sudden blurred vision
  • Sudden, severe headache
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness or loss of coordination or balance

If you need emergency care, please call 911 or come to any of these MultiCare Emergency locations:

Other essential care

There may be other reasons to seek care, before it becomes an emergency. It’s important to continue taking good care of yourself during this time and seek care for your essential health care needs. This includes:

  • Family planning services and procedures
  • Childhood immunizations
  • Treatment for patients with urgent needs (examples include, but are not limited to, suspected heart attack, stroke, pneumonia)
  • Surgery that would result in you or your loved one’s condition worsening if it was delayed (for example, removal of a serious cancerous tumor)

If you’re not sure if you need in-person care for your illness or injury, call your doctor for guidance. Many of your MultiCare providers are now performing virtual visits. You may be able to be seen by your own provider without needing to come into the clinic.
