Allergy and immunology care
The immune system has a big job to do — it protects us against germs like viruses and bacteria. However, sometimes the immune system reacts to other substances we come into contact with, such as pollen, insect venom, medications or certain foods. These reactions can cause symptoms that range from uncomfortable, such as itchy eyes, to life-threatening, such as anaphylaxis. Sometimes allergies can also trigger asthma flare-ups.
Many allergies are first identified in childhood, and they can be disruptive, leading to missed days of school, poor sleep or dietary issues. That’s why Mary Bridge Children’s Allergy and Immunology Services team is here to support you.
How we help
We provide comprehensive care for kids with allergies, asthma or an immune system dysfunction — when the immune system does not work properly. Our board-certified pediatric specialists in allergies and immunology work closely with you to identify allergies or causes of recurrent infections and develop a plan to treat them. We offer both inpatient and outpatient allergy and immunology consultations.
