Mental and behavioral health services for children and teens
At Mary Bridge Children’s, our collaboration with MultiCare allows us to offer evaluation and treatment of a wide range of mental and behavioral health care conditions for children and teens. This includes:
- Outpatient services for children and families through MultiCare
- An inpatient hospitalization program at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital for adolescents ages 13 to 17 facing a mental health crisis
Our team of experts — including board-certified doctors, advanced registered nurse practitioners, psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers — work together with your child’s pediatrician to provide compassionate mental health care.
Conditions & treatments
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Complex mental health conditions, including psychosis, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Developmental delays
- Down syndrome or other chromosomal disorders
- Medical disorders affecting a child’s development
- Behavior concerns related to the above diagnoses

Admission to our Inpatient Adolescent Behavioral Health program at Tacoma General requires a referral from a referring emergency department. Providers may call 253-403-0556 to refer a patient. This number is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
