Why choose Mary Bridge Children’s for diabetes and endocrinology?

Our multidisciplinary team of highly trained pediatric professionals knows that hormone and endocrine-related conditions, like diabetes and thyroid disease, not only require careful management and specialized treatments, but also attention to a child’s social and emotional health. All specialists involved in your child’s care, including endocrinologists and social workers, help support the whole health and well-being of your child.

Our team provides outpatient services across the South Sound through Mary Bridge Children’s regional outpatient centers so children can get care close to home. For children needing inpatient care, our hospital in Tacoma is conveniently located.

Diabetes education is available for children and their families from certified diabetes educators who specialize in pediatrics. This includes individualized education about diabetes self-management, insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring.
