Practice Philosophy:I believe that the art of medicine is every bit as important as the science behind it. Open communication, mutual respect and trust lay the foundation of this art. Vision is the primary sense by which a child experiences the wonders of this world and my goal is to offer the latest in technology and surgical expertise to maximize the visual potential of each child, at every developmental stage.
While ophthalmology is a separate and distinct specialty, I never lose sight of the fact that the eyes are connected to the brain and to a child. I enjoy every opportunity in working with parents, pediatricians and other pediatric specialists in a team approach to provide the optimal care for the whole child.
